The Bio-Active Cabinet by Crosscutts is designed to provide a solid foundation for a standard 2′ x 2′ footprint cage. This foundation will raise the cage off the floor, provide active drainage, and allow the creation of a bioactive floor with a built in substrate tray. The Bio-Active Cabinet has the following features:

Compatible with Dragon Strand Tall hybrid and Tall Screen Cage systems, ReptiBreeze XL, and other 24″x 24″ footprint cage designs.
Cage sits on top of tray.
Raises cage up 31.5″ on a solid foundation
Included drain allows active drainage of cage water into a bucket below (bucket not included)
4.75″ of depth allows user to add soil and create a bioactive environment. (bio-active soil not included)
Product dimensions = 24.75″ x 24.75″ x 32″ high

Description

The Bio-Active Stand is a combination of an enclosed cabinet on casters, drainage tray and a substrate tray.

The Cabinet: The cabinet raises your cage 31.5″ up, putting the cage at a comfortable level for you to maintain and the top perching branch high enough up to provide a sense of security for a cautious chameleon.

The Drainage Tray: Your cage sits on top of the tray with the bottom having a drain that will empty the cage water into a common bucket (not included). The Bio-Active Cabinet comes standard with the drain cut out and the draina that you can easily install. The tray is tested to be watertight (other than the drain!)

The Substrate Tray: The tray has raised sides allowing the option of 4 3/4″ of soil substrate. Soil is optional and can be added any time in the future. (With active drainage, a drainage layer is not necessary.)

Add-on Accessories may be added to the package at the time of ordering.

Dragon Ledges Hydration Bundle: Includes a set of 24″ Dragon Ledges, 2*Hydration Mounts, and 1*Fogger input. This accessory allows you to mount mist king value misting nozzles (or equivalent) and the fogger input will accept the common 22mm fogger hose and Exo_terra fogger hose. The Dragon Ledges allow you to mount branches and potted plants up along the side of your screen enclosure. These are specifically designed for ZooMed ReptiBreeze XL enclosures or other cage with 24″ wide sides and a back panel that is 23.5″ wide.

Feeder Run Cup: This cup allows you to contain feeder insects, but stills gives them a chance to climb and attract the chameleon’s attention. These are Naymar’s Lizard Alley Feeder Run Cups with top lid and drain holes. Mounting hardware allows attaching the feeder run cup to vertical branches, horizontal branches, or the Dragon Ledges.

Guide for Your Cage:

If you have a Dragon Strand Tall Screen or Tall Hybrid, your cage already comes with everything in the Dragon Ledges Hydration Bundle. Select whether you want the Feeder Run Cup.

If you have a ZooMed Reptibreeze XL then consider adding the 24in Dragon Ledges Hydration Bundle as this gives you the ability to mount branches and plants to the side of your screen cage, provides a mounting for two Mist King value misters (or equivalent), and provides a convenient fogger input that is compatible with the standard 22mm hoses and the Exo_Terra fogger. And, the Feeder Run Cup allows you to contain insects and have some sort of control over where they are.
